Our Story

Chris Bucci, drew the shape of the state of Oregon on a napkin after he said, “My heart is here, my heart is in Oregon.”

While pondering leaving Oregon, his adopted home, Chris Bucci, and laid-off high tech employee, said to himself, “But where would I go? My heart is here, my heart is in Oregon.” And he drew the shape of the state of Oregon on a napkin and put a heart in it. Even as a pen drawing, it made him fee l much better.

Since that drawing, over 500,000 stickers have been distributed and Heart in Oregon has become the symbol of the people of Oregon and their pioneering spirit. We have also discovered that others feel the same way about their home as we do ours.

So we invented the Heart Sticker to help build stronger connections between other states and their communities.
