Heart in North Carolina

The Heart in North Carolina design is based in our "Classic" design scheme.  The classic design is a red heart, black border with white fill, and is borrowed from Milton Glasier's I (Heart) NY design of the same color scheme.

From the great western mountains, through central Piedmont to the greeting of the sea, North Carolina will always have a special place in my heart.

North Carolina Facts:

• Jazz greats- John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Billy Taylor, and Nina Simone were all born in North Carolina.
• America's largest mansion is in Asheville North Carolina, the Biltmore House
•  The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill is the nation’s oldest public university, founded in 1798.  (Two other state university also lay claim to this prize.
