West Virginia has leveraged the colors blue and gold for many uses. License plates, welcome signs, school colors. We naturally followed with our golden heart and border on a blue state fill.
Quick story: While driving through West Virginia from Ohio to North Carolina, Heart in USA owner, Chris Bucci stopped at an amazing rest stop name Tamarack. This was more than a simple place to stop and gain some relief, it was a showcase of West Virginia artist and wares.
Chris noticed Blue Grass music being pumped through the whole building and thought it was a nice touch. Much to his surprise, the music was being performed live in the auditorium. It was a live Blue Grass Band, not a recording. Find out more about Tamarack here.
